Butterflies Playgroup provides pre-school experiences and the chance to socialise with other children in a stable, secure and relaxed environment with qualified staff. Children are able to develop skills, confidence and independence. The 3-hour sessions, on Mon & Wed afternoons and Tues, Thurs & Fri mornings during term-time, are for children aged 2 (until the term after the 3rd birthday) and must be booked in advance. £12 per session. Check if your 2-year old is entitled to receive FREE childcare/early education if your family gets certain benefits.

All Nursery Officers have a minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification, whilst, several are Graduate level.
Our Nursery Officers are responsible for providing high quality childcare and play/learning opportunities through the planning, and delivery, of a wide range of activities appropriate to the child's needs and stage of development.
They ensure consistency in facilitating children's physical, emotional, intellectual and social development whilst working in partnership with parents/carers.
All Nursery Assistants have a minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification with several at Graduate level.
Our Nursery Assistants are responsible for supporting the Officers in providing high quality childcare and play/learning opportunities through the planning, and delivery, of a wide range of activities appropriate to the child's needs and stage of development.
They also ensure consistency in facilitating children's physical, emotional, intellectual and social development whilst working in partnership with parents/carers.
Our Modern Apprentice is in their first steps into Childcare and are working towards a Level 2 Childcare qualification.
