North Northumberland
Children's Centres

From 4.30pm on Tuesday 24th March 2020 our Children's Centres in the North Locality will be closed. (Except for our emergency childcare in Berwick which is being monitored on a daily basis)

All staff will be working from home for the foreseeable future so if you need support please do not hesitate to contact the following numbers:

01670620461 / 01670620462 / 01670624702

And our admin staff will take a message and pass it on to the relevant staff member.

We are currently operating an early help telephone support service where you can call the numbers above and you will be telephoned by a duty early help family worker who can offer advice and support over the next few weeks.

Families who already have an allocated worker will continue to be supported via telephone by their worker.

Please remember we are here to support you and your family during this difficult time.

Stay safe at home.

In light of current circumstances regarding COVID-19, Early Help  Family Workers Team North will be offering support to local families five days per week (9.00am-5.00pm Monday-Thurs and 9.00am-4.30pm Friday) via telephone in the first instance.  This will replace the weekly parent drop ins that currently run in Berwick, Alnwick and Amble on a Tuesday.

This will begin from Monday 23rd March 2020

Parents/Carers are welcome to contact Early Help by telephoning 01670 620461 (which is the main number).  However, if you are unable to get through on this number you can also ring 01670 624 702 or 01670 620 462.  A message will be taken and sent to an Early Help Family Worker who can offer support/advice and signposting around many different issues families will be experiencing at the moment :
